About Us
SwimTec was established in 1975, and acquired Heartrate UK (the sole UK suppliers of the Treffene Coaches Heartrate Monitor) in 1996 to become SwimTec (Heartrate UK) until this year, we are now known as SwimTec UK, and are still sole distributor of the Treffene Coaches HRM in the UK. Experience We have many years (over 50 years combined) of competitive swimming experience up to Olympic level in coaching and competitor, we pride ourselves in being able to offer honest & instructive advice about our products. We aim to supply a range of up-to-date equipment at competitive prices.

Paddy Garratt
ASA Senior Coach, Former World, European, Commonwealth and GB Olympic Coach. Paddy has coached in excess of 70 swimmers to international level (many of them becoming Olympians) during his 40+ years in the sport, which includes 23 years at Millfield School and 9 years in York.

Caroline Garratt (was Foot)
Multi-national champion and British record breaker on Butterfly, competed for England and Great Britain between 1981 and 2000 (6 European Championships (1 bronze), 5 World Championships, 3 Commonwealth Games (1 silver & 1 Bronze), 2 Olympic Games (Captain 1996). She was ranked 5th in the world on 50m Butterfly LC during 2000 and is also a qualified ASA Teacher and ASA Club Coach.
